Our Fume extract ductwork is fabricated from UPVC, Polypropylene and G.R.P. all manufactured to the HVCA industry standards and Specification DW 154 for Plastic Ductwork.
Fume extract ventilation systems have been installed all over the UK at various Universities, Schools, Hospitals, and Swimming pools, Chemical and Pharmaceutical sites, laboratory blocks, Research and Development sites. From single fume cupboard extract systems to whole multi-floor laboratory blocks incorporating many fume cupboards.
We have undertaken work for Water and sewage plants utilizing plastic ductwork systems to remove gases and fume off their processes with some incorporating odour control systems and fume scrubbing plant.
We can fabricate square to round transitions, bespoke flange connections and almost anything you may desire. We have full 3d CAD modelling and on request will provide drawings for your approval.
Stepart Plastics offer a complete national installation service. Using only the very best engineers with many years experience, installed to the HVCA DW154 installation code, we are versed and fully familiar of working on large CDM installation sites. All our engineers are CSCS registered as minimum.
Where the application or specification demands, glass reinforced plastic can be applied to PVC ductwork with a chemical etching process and in the case of Polypropylene a special fabric backed version is available to ensure mechanical bonding. We have the design experience and technical knowledge to cater for all types of application, including exhaust stacks and structure subject to wind loading calculations.
Fabricated from any combination of plastics but usually PVC, Polypropylene and supplied with or without Fibre Glass Reinforcement.
We offer a very quick turn around on all fabricated ductwork transitions, from simple spigot adapters to square to rounds, special reducers etc.
All production information is kept on digital files so that should you ever need to know a specific bolt hole, or require an identical / replacement we can confirm or start production without any delay.
